Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar to Cue OS and Cue can tell you what is on today, find a free slot, add an event, or answer an invitation. The connection uses Google's own sign-in, and you can disconnect it at any time.

What you can do

• Ask Cue what is on your calendar today or in the coming days.
• Create events from plain text, such as "Dentist Friday 2pm", or with exact start and end times.
• Change or delete events, and accept, decline, or tentatively accept invitations.
• Do the same from a terminal with cue gcal.

On the web

1. Open Settings → Connectors and select Google Calendar. The card reads "View and manage your calendar events".
2. Choose Connect. Google's sign-in opens in a pop-up. Cue OS asks to view and edit events on your calendars and to see your email address, the 2 permissions shown on the card.
3. Back in Cue OS, Google Calendar appears under Enabled connectors with the connected address.
4. To stop Cue using your calendar, open the card, choose Disconnect, and confirm.

On iPhone and Android

The iPhone and Android apps are coming; store review is pending. You can use Cue OS in your phone browser now. Open Settings → Connectors and follow the web steps.

With Cue CLI

cue calendar is the same command as cue gcal.

1. Check the connection with cue integration list. If Google Calendar is missing, run cue integration connect google_calendar, open the link it prints, approve, and list again.

2. See what is coming up:

   cue gcal today
   cue gcal list --days 7 --limit 20
   cue gcal get <event-id>

3. Create an event from plain text, or with exact times:

   cue gcal create "Dentist Friday 2pm"
   cue gcal create --summary "Team sync" --start 2026-10-05T10:00:00 --end 2026-10-05T10:30:00

4. Change, delete, or answer an event:

   cue gcal update <event-id> --summary "New title"
   cue gcal delete <event-id>
   cue gcal rsvp <event-id> accepted

   rsvp also takes declined or tentative. Add --json to any command for machine-readable output.

When Cue asks you first

If one of your agents, acting with its own agent account, tries to create, change, delete, or answer an event for work that did not come from you, Cue OS puts an approval card in your direct chat with that agent, for example "Allow calendar — create event?". Nothing changes until you choose Approve. See When Cue asks you first.

Limits today

• Connecting, disconnecting, and reconnecting Google Calendar were not walked end to end for this page; the steps follow the live screens up to Google's sign-in, plus the product code. Reading events with an existing connection was checked from Cue CLI.
• Changes Cue makes are real calendar changes. Guests on an event may see them.
• Agent accounts cannot get a raw Calendar token with cue secret; they use cue gcal, which runs through Cue OS.
